1. Who processes the data
The personal data operator is Teller Kazakhstan LLP (the “Operator”), BIN 220540001299. Legal address: non-residential premises No. 287, 119 Karasai Batyr St., Almalinsky District, Almaty, 050012, Republic of Kazakhstan. Email for data questions: salem@teller.studio.
This policy applies to the storyteller.kz website and all its pages. It was drawn up in accordance with Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 94-V of 21 May 2013 “On Personal Data and Their Protection”.
2. What data we receive
Through the request form (the “letter” on the website's pages), you can provide us with:
- your name;
- your company name;
- a description of the task: what should change for the business;
- contact details: phone, email or messenger;
- an indicative budget;
- how you heard about us.
Along with the request, the address of the page it was sent from is transmitted automatically, so that we understand which service or case you are interested in.
The website also collects anonymised visit data (cookies, device and browser type, pages viewed) using the Google Analytics web analytics service. This data does not allow you to be identified.
Please do not include health information or other special categories of personal data in your request: they are not needed to discuss the task.
3. Why we process it
- to respond to your request, discuss the task and prepare a proposal;
- to correspond and negotiate about cooperation;
- to understand which pages and channels bring requests, and to improve the website.
We do not use the data from requests for newsletters or advertising without your separate consent.
4. Legal basis for processing
By sending a request through the form on the website, you consent to the processing of the data you provide under the terms of this policy. Filling in the form is voluntary. Anonymised data is collected only if cookies and JavaScript are enabled in your browser; you can disable them in your browser settings.
5. How we store and protect data
Requests go to the Operator's work email and CRM. Only the employees who respond to requests and run projects have access to them. The Operator takes legal, organisational and technical measures to protect the data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure and destruction.
We store the data from a request for as long as needed for the purposes in section 3 or until you withdraw your consent, unless a longer period is required by law.
6. Transfer to third parties
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties, except as provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. To run the website, email, CRM and analytics, we use contractors' services; they process data only to provide these services to us.
If such services store data outside Kazakhstan, the Operator transfers data only to countries that ensure its protection, and otherwise only with your consent or if it is necessary to perform a contract with you.
7. Your rights
You can find out what data of yours we store, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent to processing. To do so, write to salem@teller.studio with the subject:
- “Updating personal data”, to correct your data;
- “Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data”, for us to stop processing and delete your data.
We will respond within the time limit set by law.
8. Changes to the policy
The policy is valid indefinitely until replaced by a new version. The current version is always published on this page.
